10 May 2025 - Ocean Grove

Another great comp day, the weather was perfect, and the ocean delivered some good swell. The paddle out was a little taxing, but there were some great waves on offer.

Thanks heaps to Nick Wright and Paul Tutin for jumping on the BBQ, which kept the hungry OG beach people happy. We sold out of the Egg & Bacon rolls early, followed by the 'Prettys Prime Cut' Hamburgers just before midday.

The new Under 50's comp is heating up, but it was a pity Nick snapped his leg rope early in the heat and had to retire.
